- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★This place is amazing! The service is great and the people are so nice and helpful. They answered all of my endless questions and more. I didn't feel rushed at all. I felt like I could be in there all day. I was like a kid in a huge candy shop! My only regret is that I wish I found out about this place sooner. I have been to several other places both in Vancouver and in Portland, and this place beats them by far! I am a brand new hobbyist and I will definitely only go to this place. - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I go here to sell all my gold, and I live in Portland. I have honestly not had a better experience anyplace else. However, if you are going to sell fine Jewelry that has an appraisal value of over 6k, you can't expect a pawn shop to buy it for anywhere near that cost. They are not overly friendly, but very fair in the offers they give you. Best of all, they are NOT pushy! This is a valuable quality for a business to have, as there is no pressure. Just a straight forward transaction if YOU choose. They pay you the value of the gold itself. They don't care about the stones. - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★These folks are honest, helpful, and fair. There may be dealers with lower premiums on PMs, but they always have something interesting and are easy to buy from. I haven't sold anything to them, but I'm irked by the reviews that someone was offended by a $300 offer for a ring that appraised for $10k. There is a MAJOR difference in an appraisal (replacement/insured) value and what something is actually "worth" in terms of resale...especially with diamonds. My kids love old coins, silver, and gold. They save up their money to buy it when they can, and the staff always spends a lot of time with them (7 and 9 years old) answering questions (A LOT of questions) and explaining the trade to them when they don't even know they'll be buying anything.
