  I had a complex case that was based around an illegal attempt to collect on an invalid debt. It involved violations of my rights, consisting of state laws in 2 states, and federal laws. I had spent a year writing letters and quoting statues (law) to the offending firm, as well as other firms they hired to harass me. I was at my wits end when I found Baxter and Baxter on the internet. Justin agreed to review my file to determine if I had a valid case. He took the case and from there on I was never bothered by the offending firm or anybody else for that matter. He brought me a sense of peace I had not experienced in over a year. His professionalism, diligence, and knowledge of the pertinent laws led to a case being filed in federal court. The offending firm settled out of court. Justin's guidance and calm manner kept me at peace through the entire process. I cannot thank him enough for the help he provided me and the peace he brought back in to my life.   Lara Gardner went above and beyond to help me through what was one of the most difficult times of my life. Unfortunately I've had cause to deal with many attorneys over the last year.   My experience with Baxter & Baxter was outstanding. I am so grateful for their representation. As a victim of identity theft ranging back to the 1980s, I found myself continually fighting the credit bureaus to clean my credit report of false information. The final straw occurred when I was forced to take my name off the deed of our home because of false information on my credit report. Fortunately for me I found the law firm of Baxter & Baxter LLP who brought a case against Equifax under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. After a weeklong trial in federal court, a jury returned a verdict of $200,000. Best of all, I finally got a clean credit report. I am so appreciative of the excellent work done by Justin and Michael Baxter — not only due to the results of the lawsuit, but because of the personal and caring attention I received. I wholeheartedly recommend the legal services of Baxter & Baxter!

  After a long and harrowing process with a debt settlement firm that refused to dismiss an incorrect judgment case, I decided it was time to get a lawyer on my side. I found Justin Baxter and emailed his office. His response was INCREDIBLY prompt and we set a meeting for a few short days afterwards. I brought him all of my paperwork, and he patiently combed through and made notes on my case for over an hour. He was personable, easy to talk to, and obviously very knowledgeable in consumer rights law. He gave me reasonable advice and sent me off with a few investigative pieces to complete. After our consultation, he was continuously prompt in answering my follow up questions and lending advice. Fast forward two weeks - he was calling to tell me that the collection firm that had been giving me such a hassle (for two years) had let him know that they were dismissing their case! Justin gave me clear instructions on how to amend the details on my credit report to reflect accurate and positive information, and even followed up with copies of all the paperwork for my records free of charge.
